DRIEAT Île-de-France

Overview

The Regional and Interdepartmental Directorate for the Environment, Planning and Transport of Île-de-France (DRIEAT) is a decentralised service of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Ministry for Territorial Cohesion and Relations with Local Authorities. It implements the State’s policies on transport, planning and sustainable development, environment, energy, and urban development, under the authority of the Prefect of Île-de-France, Prefect of Paris, the Police Prefect, and the departmental prefects.

DRIEAT contributes to shaping a living environment that best meets the needs of both current and future generations in Île-de-France. It provides an integrated vision of environmental challenges alongside those related to cohesion and balanced territorial development.

The DRIEAT comprises eleven regional departments, four local units in the inner suburbs, four in the outer suburbs, and also serves as the Seine River Basin delegate authority for water policy.

PEXE collaborates with DRIEAT’s Sustainable Development Directorate on topics related to employment and skills. A series of webinars on employment and skills themes has emerged from this partnership:

  • Webinar on skills-based sponsorship – available here
  • Webinar on CSRD – currently in preparation
  • Webinar on mission-led companies – coming soon

It is worth noting that DRIEAT Île-de-France coordinates a working group with associations, foundations, and businesses in the region, focused on environmental topics.
