Overview
The GPS&O Urban Community is a dynamic area with more than 28,000 businesses and 130,000 jobs, 20% of which are in industry. It is home to major longstanding companies such as ArianeGroup in Les Mureaux, Renault in Flins, Stellantis in Poissy, and Safran in the Mantois region.
Labelled a “Territoire d’industrie” for the second time in 2023, a winner of the “Industrial Recovery” call for expressions of interest, and fully committed to the national France 2030 programme, the urban community acts as a catalyst for industrial renewal in the Seine Valley—focusing on decarbonisation and revitalising the economic fabric.
Our economic development policy supports both local businesses and those looking to set up operations in the area. We help companies establish and grow, enhance their attractiveness and competitiveness, and overcome barriers to their development. To support their growth, we are also committed to three key priorities: river logistics, water resource preservation, and decarbonisation.
