The members of PEXE are at the heart of environmental and energy management professions. Spread across the French territory, they also cover all sectors of the ecological and energy transition.
Areas of Activity
The Ecological Transition in action
Air & Noise
Air is a vital resource whose quality must be preserved. Similarly, noise must be controlled by reducing noise pollution to avoid becoming a nuisance.

Risks
Risks can be industrial, environmental or natural. The aim is to prevent these risks in order to guarantee the safety of the population and the environment.

Waste - Recycling - Circular economy
The waste sector includes collection, sorting, treatment and, increasingly, the circular economy: recycling, reuse and material, energy and organic recovery.
Les enjeux sont maintenant de repenser les déchets comme de véritables ressources.

Renewable Energy
This sector includes renewable energies such as biogas, wood energy, marine energies, wind power, solar power, hydroelectricity, photovoltaics, geothermal power, heat networks, thermodynamics and a few other types of energy.

Energy Efficiency
The “Energy Efficiency” sector will focus on building, industry, transport, smartgrids and storage.

Climate Change Adaptation
Climate change is the modification of the earth's climate and atmosphere, mainly due to human activities. It is becoming increasingly important to implement strategies to adapt to these changes.

Ecological Engineering and Biodiversity
Ecological engineering is the term used to describe the use of engineering techniques to promote ecology and biodiversity. The aim is to preserve nature by intervening in all areas of the environment.

Water
This sector focuses on water resources and aquatic environments. It includes water purification, water reuse and everything to do with drinking water. It also includes intelligent networks and pilots specialized in the water sector.

Contaminated Soil
The contaminated soil sector includes everything to do with remediation work and treatment centers. This requires regular studies and controls, or else can have harmful consequences for health and the environment.

Green Chemistry
The aim of green chemistry is to develop chemical processes and syntheses that reduce or eliminate the use or appearance of environmentally hazardous substances.

Sea & Coast
Ce secteur regroupe de nombreux domaines tels que la sécurité maritime, les ressources marines, l'aménagement du littoral, les ports, ou encore les infrastructures maritimes.

Sustainable Construction
Whether for residential or commercial buildings, the aim is to limit the impact on the environment as much as possible. These buildings must also integrate perfectly with their surroundings, using as many local resources as possible.
