The objective of EIT InnoEnergy is to bring together actors from education, research and industry in order to accelerate innovation to reduce CO2 emissions, improve European competitiveness in the sustainable energy sector and create jobs.
Three key aspects of innovation they rely on:
- the development of innovation projects,
- the acceleration and support of start-ups,
- the development of European initiatives to cover several energy value chains (EBA, EGHAC, ESI)
- the dispensation of education programs (Masters) and continuing training (the EBA Academy for example).
EIT InnoEnergy has more than 500 partners in Europe: companies, research centres, higher education institutes including over 100 French who bring credibility and expertise to each project (Schneider Electric, EDF, ENGIE, Ecole Polytechnique, HEC, CEA, Grenoble INP…).
EIT InnoEnergy organises The Business Booster, funded by the European Union. TBB is a physical event that brings together innovators, industrialists and funders from all over the world.
